Storyteller

If I had to boil myself down to one word it would be this: Storyteller. Writing is my first love. I've written plays, screenplays, teleplays, short stories, country songs, poems ... you name it. I finished two books just recently, one very long and one very short.

Some might think this whimsical or unrelated to business, but the gift of story has been a tremendous asset for me in the business world. When you stop to think about it, it's all about story. Every deck, every speech, every presentation to an investor or the board or the team ... every time you want to convince someone to join you, or convince anyone of anything for that matter ... it comes down to story.

Sometimes the shorter the better.
